Hi folks,
I'm new to this tribe and just thought I'd say hi. I'm about to move to DC and am considering joining ZipCar. Would love to hear some first-hand accounts with car-sharing, get a little support in my decision maybe...

Re: Considering joining ZipCar...
Thu, May 31, 2007 - 8:40 AMI am also new to this tribe. I would consider joining Flexcar as well. Flexcar is a national car sharing organization which started in Seattle. It is now in DC and several other cities across the country including Philadelphia and Pittsburgh (and many more on the west coast). I think it is an awesome service and the prices can't be beat. The really cool thing about Flexcar is that mileage is included. I know with the other car sharing company in Philadelphia (PhillyCarShare), you have to pay .09 cents per mile. With Flexcar, gas, insurance, and 150 free miles per day are already included, not to mention the fact that you have a reserved parking spot in the city! Good luck!
